Love is all around us. Who said Valentine's is just for lovers, it's also an opportunity to celebrate love in every form. Every year since my daughter could express herself, her father has been getting her a card and a treat along side mine it's usually nothing big but something that lets her know she is loved and appreciated.
Usually he gets her a personalized card a heart fancy lollipop of some sort and one little present with a bow. There was also a time he got her a card and made her believe one direction had sent it to her, as she is in love with Niall, till this day she still believes him and I'm just thankful she doesn't know I have blogged about it.
Another gift? yes, but I truly believe in the sentiment behind the fuss. I think it's important for children to learn from their parents how to treat their partners, as their future relationships are based on the imprint and influence their parents have. Have your husband take your daughter out pull the chair out for her and pay for the meal so in future she learns what it means to be respected and treated well.
