Ok so lately I have been a bit more mindful of my health, the realisation that I will soon be old followed by the fact that my metabolism isn't what it used to be has me trying new things. A few things I'm trying and loving at the moment. I have always been skeptical of pill popping when it comes to vitamins but after a few compliments I have received I just might continue. Below are my current faves and addition to up the ante on that healthy lifestyle.
1. Acai berry vitamins and Biotin/ the mane choice :- after looking at their vitamins and recently cutting my hair (see previous posts) then becoming depressed and lusting for long hair I have decided to give these a go after literally stalking their Instagram page and reading up on what a great effect biotin has on giving you healthy hair and nails. I only began on the 9th of June so I will post a review and update within a month.
2. Roshe runs- the holy grail of running shoes cute, and technical, these super cute running shoes have been on my wish list for ages. Only problem is they are sold out almost everywhere, thanks to technology I found a seller on depop who does them in various colours loving the khaki and pink. Depop: sneaker forward. No excuse to not exercise now lol.
3. Coffee scrubs: since summer = skin baring, and almost every woman has cellulite these coffee scrubs are all the rage, I'm not a scientist so excuse the poor explanation but theirs something about caffeine that affects the appearance of cellulite in your body. Give these a go your thighs will thank you. Search Instagram for frank_bod
4. Bicarbonate of soda: - this home remedy has apparently been used for years. Not only does it give you whiter teeth, it also eliminates bad breath, make a paste with a but of water and brush your teeth.
5. Oil pulling:- say what?! this crazy phase had me doing a double take but all it is is basically swirling a bit of oil in your mouth, in addition to having the same effect as the soda it also clears your skin. Try coconut oil since it doesn't have flavor or a scent and swirl around your mouth, people say do it for twenty minutes but it's physically impossible to keep anything in your mouth that long.
Have a go and let me know what you think xxx
